The front part of the human head is called the face, and it includes several distinct areas, the most prominent of which are: the forehead, which consists of the skin below the hairline, and is bordered laterally by the temples, and from below by the eyebrows and ears. The eyes are in the middle of the eye sockets and are protected by the eyelids and eyelashes, and the nose is in the middle of the face and extends from the top. The eyes reach the mouth and end in a depression on the upper lip of the mouth, called the upper lip groove. It flows into the mouth and finally ends in the chin.
